3/1/06 - <<DIV>Bo goes in for surgery on Tues. The torn area is from the feather but below the feather there is a lump and some tissue that needs to be debrided. The lump can be a tumor but we are hoping it is just an infection follicle from not being able to push through. As for the ingrown she is going to look into both options; birdie electrolysis (laser) and the skin piercing. There would also have to be A LOT of holes made in him. She is leaning more toward the laser because Bo tends to heal so poorly and may very well over scar. Causing more areas of concern.While there is a chance of feather regrowth w/ the laser she thinks it may produce better healing. She is going to look into both options and talk w/ some of her Dr. friends. Continue for more...
